National Allied Health, Scientific and Technical Informatics Group (NAHSTIG)The National Allied Health, Scientific and Technical Informatics Group (NAHSTIG) was founded to provide a space where passionate clinicians could share ideas, collaborate and achieve positive outcomes for their workforce and consumers. HiNZ provides secretariat services to support NAHSTIG. PurposeTo provide a forum for a community of allied health, scientific and technical staff who have an interest in, a role for or oversight of digital health, data and informatics in the health and disability system. As a forum we are inclusive of all cultures, recognising that New Zealand is a bi-cultural community. We are committed to our obligations under Te Tiriti (Ministry of Health - Manatū Hauora) and are aligned in our strategic focus with the principles of Whakamaua - Māori Health Action Plan (2020). Group MembershipAny member of the health and disability workforce staff from an allied health, scientific or technical profession is able to become a member.
