Matthew Lord Information Technology Security Manager, Data & Digital Ministry of Health
Matthew wears two hats at the Ministry of Health – he is responsible for the security of the shared health systems across New Zealand and he is also the chief security advisor for the health sector. Matthew comes from NTT NZ as their Head of Cybersecurity practice, which includes responsibility for security consulting, incident response and offensive security testing. He has more than 20 years’ industry experience and has worked in senior cybersecurity leadership positions in a number of global organisations across a range of industry sectors. He has participated in a number of cybersecurity industry boards, including as joint Chairperson of the Australasian Chapter of The Information Security Forum. He has also contributed to the development of international cybersecurity standards, including the Open Group’s Jericho forum Identity Commandments and ISACA’s CoBiT IT Governance implementation guide.

Denis O’Shea Founder Mobile Mentor
Denis founded Mobile Mentor in 2004 with a clear purpose - to empower people to achieve more with their technology. The technology is always changing but Denis' purpose is the same and today most of Denis's energy is helping clients to navigate the balance between security and employee experience.
Denis is really passionate about solutions that make an impact in healthcare, education and government. Since 2017, Denis has lived in the US, working with both public and private healthcare providers.

Steven Earnshaw Chief Clinical Information Officer (3DHB) Capital & Coast DHB
Steve Earnshaw is Chief Clinical Innovation Officer for the three Wellington Region DHBs, where he leads a multidisciplinary team of clinical informaticians. He chairs the Central region clinical informatics leadership group, and is a member of the NZ telehealth leadership group and the CiLN advisory panel.
Steve’s background is in orthopaedic surgery, and prior to taking up his current role he was Chief Medical Officer for South Canterbury DHB and chair of the South Island clinical informatics leadership team.

Jaco Denton IT Manager Bay of Plenty DHB
Jaco has 25 years combined experience within the ICT industry, with 20 years having been in predominantly ICT Management/Leadership roles, with extensive hands-on involvement towards advanced technologies within complex ICT environments. Combined with a passionate focus on the individuals we’re all dependent on for functioning within teams and fostering attitude of striving for excellence and encouraged ongoing innovation.
With 6 years experience in the NZ Health Sector, and also having gained extensively diverse hands-on industry experience through my career in: Social Media Platforms, International Corporate Property Management, International Banking Sector, International Corporate Procurement, International Hospitality Systems Management, Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and International Industrial Production Management.
