Doug Healey

Doug Healey is a proven leader in driving transformational change and addressing intergenerational Māori health inequities. He brings extensive experience in community engagement, working alongside Iwi, Hapū, Marae, and Māori communities to embed culturally grounded decision-making. Doug has successfully established community health centres and led initiatives that tackle critical social determinants such as dental health and housing.

Dr Lloyd McCann

Dr Lloyd McCann is the Chief Executive Officer for Tāmaki Health. Lloyd has worked across public and private health in New Zealand in clinical, consultancy, leadership and governance roles and was a member of the Expert Panel that conducted the review of the NZ Health and Disability System over 2018-2020. He is an advocate for equity and value-based, digitally-enabled health and social care.


 

Ed Falloon

Ed is Director Applications and Products – Digital Services, Health NZ and has delivered numerous technology products, enhancing the equity and effectiveness of New Zealand’s health system.
He is known for his innovative thinking and team building and is passionate about finding healthcare problems and solving them through digital innovation.


 

Paula Tesoriero 

As CEO of Whaikaha- Ministry of Disabled People, Paula Tesoriero provides strategic leadership to the Ministry and across government to drive real and meaningful change with disabled people, tāngata whaikaha Māori, and their whānau. Paula is well-known and a respected leader in the disability community. She is disabled and has a deep knowledge of the challenges and opportunities for the disability community. Her vision for the use of AI is that it is used responsibly to harness opportunities and break down barriers for disabled people.


 

Ginny Baddeley

Ginny Baddeley is Deputy Chief Executive, Strategy and Enablement at Whaikaha. She leads the functions that ensure the Ministry is strategy led and has the capability, systems, and culture to deliver real change for disabled people.  

She also leads the Whaikaha work to enable the responsible use of artificial intelligence, with a strong emphasis on accessibility, practical adoption, and building confidence and capability across the organisation.


 

Elf Eggimann

Elf Eggiman plays a key role in national and regional cyber security incident response, supporting the health sector’s resilience through governance, risk management, and clinical input into cyber operations.
She has a strong track record of leading digital transformation and strategic innovation in healthcare. With over a decade of experience across clinical, operational, and informatics roles. She brings a unique ability to translate frontline realities into scalable digital solutions that improve patient outcomes and system performance.


 

Daman Kaur

Daman Kaur is a Nurse Practitioner working in Cardiology for the last 15 years. She is passionate about equity and access to cardiac care provision and future models of care.


 

Andrew Ingersoll

Andrew Ingersoll is an Associate Director at PwC New Zealand where he helps health systems and organisations transform and innovate through digital health and GenAI solutions. Andrew has over 20 years of experience in the health sector, spanning clinical strategy, and consulting roles.


 

Ulrich Speidel

Ulrich Speidel trained as a physicist and "mutated" into a computer scientist while doing his PhD at the University of Auckland in the 1990's where he now works as a senior lecturer. Ulrich has worked in a broad range of computing-related fields, broadly around the themes of Internet, complexity, resilience and security. 


 

Matthew Lord

Matthew Lord is the Chief Information Officer at Tu Ora Compass Health and Health Hawke’s Bay (HHB), where he leads digital, data, cyber security, and technology strategy across both organisations. 

Matthew is also Co Lead of the GPNZ Data and Digital CIO Leads, working with CIO peers nationwide to shape shared priorities for digital enablement and system improvement across general practice.


 

Maggie Coghlan-Talbot 

Maggie Coghlan-Talbot is a Clinical Nurse Specialist at Hastings Hospital, Hawke’s Bay and has a strong interest in cardiovascular nursing and in particular heart failure. Maggie is passionate about equity and bringing clinical evidence and focus into daily practice for patients and their families to achieve best outcomes and advancing different models of care for patients.  


 

Peter Radich

As the Group Chief Digital Officer for home and community provider New Zealand Health Group, Richard provides support and advice to the Group CEO and the Board and is responsible for ICT strategy, development, operations.  


 

Christopher Dawson

Christopher launched Spritely in 2020 to make remote care more accessible for vulnerable patients. Spritely has worked with a range of organisations providing care in the community via established and pioneering new pathways for remote care focused on both prevention and recovery. 


 

Jayden MacRae

Jayden MacRae is the Founder and Managing Director of DataCraft Analytics, a HiNZ Fellow, and an experienced analytics engineer with 28 years serving the health information sector. Through DataCraft, he has partnered with numerous organisations to support and guide them on their successful information maturity journeys.


 

Dr Heidi Baker

Dr Heidi Baker is a paediatrician who has established a private paediatric practice in the North and South Islands alongside her ED work.
 
In 2023, Heidi was Aotearoa’s first user of the Heidi AI Scribe and says it has allowed her to be truly present with patients, restoring a love of clinical medicine. 


 

Sym Gardiner

Sym has worked for many years in both IT and Health in both the private, not-for-profit and public sectors. These roles have had a transformational and operations focus, moving organisations, teams and employees forward to take advantage of new developments. He has recently supported the establishment of the Telehealth Accelerated Uptritration pathway which is being rolled out as a national pilot.


 

Ray Liu

Ray is the Chief Digital Officer of Evolution Healthcare group. He is passionate about aligning technology investment to business strategy and managing digital transformation in complex environments. 


 

Jason Alexander

Jason Alexander is the Chief Operating Officer at Hāpai Te Hauora, where he works at the intersection of Māori public health, strategy, and innovation. With more than a decade of experience in Māori health and a background in technology, he is particularly interested in using new approaches to tackle long-standing inequities.
