Who are we?
CiLN is a NZ-based, multi-disciplinary and responsive health network for people with a clinical background and interest in data and/or digital.
CiLN is supported and funded by HiNZ.
You can email sector@hinz.org.nz for more information.
What do we do?
The network has three roles:
- Act as an easy way for clinical leaders to communicate, network and share skills and knowledge about data and digital services from within and outside New Zealand.
- Provide a unified and influential clinical voice in data and digital services in New Zealand
- Raise awareness of the importance of clinical roles in the data and digital sectors
Who do we do it for?
CiLN supports clinicians involved in health decision making and those who work with them. Ultimately patients, whānau
and communities will benefit from our work.
We do this by providing:
- An online forum and networking events that make it easy to collaborate and share our skills and experience
- Support in defining and promoting clinicians and their roles with data and digital services
- Cohesive, functional voice to influence key stakeholders
CiLN also organises an annual Clinical Informatics Leadership Award to be presented annually during Digital Health Week NZ.
