Integrate, Orchestrate and Enable. These are the terms we use to describe in broad terms what Ascom's total solutions do: we integrate systems (from Ascom, but certainly also from third parties), we smartly coordinate information from those systems, and we make that information available for your employees, wherever they are.

The three elements of the solutions are named independently to ensure they are interchangeable. As a customer, you want the freedom to source parts of your alarm platform from different suppliers. Indeed, if you consciously opt for a “best of breed” strategy, you want to choose the best for all parts of your total solution. Ascom is happy to contribute to this: through Ascom's partial solutions modular and open interface.

Ascom Myco 3
Our smart device Ascom Myco 3 is an excellent example of such an open sharing solution. Myco 3 is a possible implementation of Enable because it enables your employees to have access to the correct information, always and everywhere. Myco 3 is based on the well-known Android operating system, which perfectly combines security and openness. You have complete freedom to support your employees in their work with apps. You can, of course, opt for an Ascom app for alarm purposes, but you don't have to. In addition, third-party apps can take advantage of Myco 3's unique capabilities, such as the color LED and the multi-function alarm buttons, including the emergency button on the top.

Ascom Myco 3 has also opted for openness with regard to management. Myco 3 is managed by third-party Mobile Device Management or Enterprise Mobility Management applications such as MobileIron and AirWatch. Therefore, you can universally manage all your mobile devices with such applications, regardless of the brand or operating system.

We are happy to advise you when it comes to critical alarms and support for your workflows. Suppose you want to support your employees by accessing information from multiple systems or sources on Ascom Myco 3. In that case, you can do this by using a separate app for each of those systems. When this concerns alarms, however, it often leads to uncoordinated notifications and priorities. You can prevent this by making well-considered choices for the Integrate and Orchestrate elements. Thanks to the modular and open structure, you can also opt for solutions from Ascom or from third parties.
