Nurses are often at the centre of rural and remote communities, connecting patients with the right care, supporting local health services and finding innovative ways to overcome distance and workforce constraints. Increasingly, digital technologies and virtual care are helping extend this reach, connecting communities with clinicians and services that may otherwise be difficult to access.
