Orion Health recently announced that it will deliver a free national solution to support scenario modelling, risk prediction, forecasting and planning throughout New Zealand’s COVID-19 response.
Presenters Genevieve Dawick and Pieta Brown will be discussing this solution alongside Amanda Oakley, founder of DermNet NZ, who will present on the use of AI for the triage of skin lesions.

                 Pieta Brown Senior Data Science Consultant Orion Health In Pieta's role at Orion Health Intelligence Services, she leads data science implementation engagements for healthcare clients. She is passionate about the potential of machine learning in healthcare and enjoys working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver new solutions.  Her previous roles have been as a statistician, Insights Manager, Chief Analytics Officer and Associate Director in management consulting. Pieta's technical background is in mathematics, statistics and computer science. She holds a Masters of Data Science and Bachelor of Laws, and is on the Advisory Board for Te Pūnaha Matatini and the Auckland Analytics Forum committee.

                Genevieve Dawick Product Director Orion Health As a Product Director at Orion Health, Genevieve is focused on delivering high-quality products that solve real world problems. In her 16 years of working in health IT, Genevieve has acquired a broad range of in a range of experience across sales, services, product, project management and process improvement. She holds a Bachelor of Science, a Postgraduate Certificate in Health Informatics and is on the Board for Wāhine Connect, a not-for-profit mentoring service for women working in the health sector.       |

                 Amanda Oakley Dermatologist Waikato DHB Adjunct Associate Professor Amanda Oakley is a Dermatologist at Waikato Health Board, where she established teledermatology projects and programmes in 1995. She is best known for founding DermNet New Zealand the same year, the popular dermatology website. An interest in Artificial Intelligence in Dermatology was sparked in 2017 by a publication in Nature about the success of convolutional neural networks. In partnership with the DHB, DermNet has a huge collection of images, which are being prepared for artificial intelligence research. Prof. Oakley has been establishing collaborations with worldwide AI institutions and companies interested in better diagnosis of skin diseases.
