Synopsis

An AI-powered Triage Assistant in use in Nelson

STAN is an AI-powered Triage Assistant that supports triage nurses in prioritizing emergency department patients. The AI uses a multitude of patient factors, e.g. age, blood pressure, presenting complaint etc, as well as standard triage rules to output a triage recommendation. STAN is being used in Nelson initially; but will be avaliable for the rest of New Zealand pending the success of the launch period.
