Biography

Lindsay Bevege
Founder and Chief Systems Architect
SmartWard

 

Lindsay is co-founder and Chief Executive of SmartWard Pty Ltd. He has been working with the SmartWard inventor, Matt Darling for the past six years to develop the business, engage hospitals and raise funds.

 

Lindsay began his career as a diplomat in the Australian Foreign Service specialising in South-East Asia. Lindsay later became General Manager of Public Affairs for CSIRO. In the mid-1990s, Lindsay co-founded Business Outlook and Evaluation, a boutique management consultancy to research and technology-based companies. He remains a Director of BOE. Lindsay is also a Director of ELP, a not-for-profit enterprise that helps remote aboriginal communities to start businesses. He is also a member of the Swinburne Civil Engineering Course Advisory Committee.

 

Lindsay has a Bachelor of Science (Hon) and a Masters of Environmental Science from Monash University, and a Graduate Diploma in Economics from the Australian National University.
