Karen Lake is a registered nurse who has worked in aged care in New Zealand for 30 years and has built a career based on clinical excellence.
Over the last decade, Karen had the responsibility of the clinical and quality oversight for two of New Zealand’s largest retirement village companies and was also, instrumental in the development and design of the 1CHART medication management system.
At Ryman Healthcare Karen has been a key member of the team who developed and rolled out Ryman Healthcare’s myRyman Care application.
myRyman was developed from scratch and has created a revolution in clinical care by eliminating paperwork and collecting data crucial to better clinical outcomes. Karen talks about the application as a super smart and practical tool that captures all information about a resident, in the moment and supports continuity of care.
