SKYCITY Convention Centre is a world-class venue in the heart of Auckland's CBD.  This entertainment destination features a casino, a multitude of bars and restaurants, the iconic Sky Tower, the five-star SKYCITY Grand Hotel and the 4+star SKYCITY Hotel with over 600 rooms between them.  There are another 1,500 hotel rooms within a five minute walk.  Auckland Airport is 45 minutes away by bus, car or taxi.

How do I get there?

SKYCITY Auckland Convention Centre is conveniently centred between Queen Street (the central city's premier retail strip) and The Viaduct, home to some of the city's most popular dining and night spots.  

 

From the Airport

SKYCITY can arrange airport transfers on request; the Auckland Airport is about 45 minutes away by bus, car or taxi. Take their SHUTTLE service and travel between SKYCITY Auckland and Auckland’s Domestic and International Airports, a cheap and easy way to travel 365 days a year.

The Airbus departs every 15 minutes to the city, and costs about NZ$16 each way, shuttles are NZ$25 per person and depart fairly regularly.

 

If you are travelling by taxi, they are located outside the domestic and international terminals and cost approximately NZ$70 to get into the city. If you are travelling by car, take the Southern Motorway north, exit at Nelson Street and follow the signs direct to SKYCITY.

 

From the centre of town (Britomart)

SKYCITY is a quick 10 minute walk from Britomart - Auckland's central bus and train station, and the Intercity Bus terminal is right on their doorstep.

Their car park is Auckland's biggest with 1,960 parks accessible from three entries.  See the car parking rates.
