Valentia Technologies to Create 35 Technology Jobs in Hamilton

SECTOR UPDATE - Valentia Technologies 

Valentia Technologies New Zealand Limited plans to create 35 new high-value technology jobs in Hamilton. The expansion will make the city a key centre for the company's next generation of AI and digital healthcare solutions for the Asia-Pacific region.

It follows the successful deployment of Valentia's healthcare technology across oncology, patient engagement, primary care, telehealth and emergency medical services. That work includes the Maha/Raurau oncology system and the OctansCare patient engagement platform. The new roles will form part of Valentia's Asia-Pacific Centre of Development in Hamilton. From Hamilton, the team will build and implement secure, cloud-based AI solutions for healthcare organisations across New Zealand and the wider Asia-Pacific.

Investing in New Zealand

Valentia has been developing healthcare technology in New Zealand for over 10 years. The new positions will span AI, software engineering, cloud technologies, healthcare informatics, product development and quality assurance. They reinforce the company's commitment to supporting advanced healthcare technology development in New Zealand.

Expanding AI Across Healthcare and Well-being

Healthcare organisations will remain a primary focus. Building on OctansCare, Valentia will also develop AI-powered tools for personalised health management, wellbeing, nutrition and fitness, connected to appropriate healthcare services. Valentia also plans to partner with healthcare, technology and specialist organisations to further develop and deploy its VIVASTA connected continuity-of-care platform.
