Collaborative Aotearoa appoints Interim Chief Executive Officer

SECTOR UPDATE - Collaborative Aotearoa We are pleased to announce the appointment of Ny Brunenberg as Interim Chief Executive Officer, effective 06 July 2026. Ny has been a valued member of the Collaborative Aotearoa team since November 2023, bringing broad experience across primary care, quality improvement, and strategic delivery. Ny has played a key role in supporting members, advancing models of care, and strengthening sector collaboration across Aotearoa.
In stepping into the role, Ny will focus on continuing to support members, strengthening partnerships, and sustaining momentum in the delivery of innovative, equitable models of care across the motu.
“It is a privilege to take on this role and support Collaborative Aotearoa through this next chapter. I am particularly honoured to contribute to the continued evolution of models of care across Aotearoa, while ensuring we deliver value for members, strengthen sector connections, and improve outcomes for communities and whānau,” says Mrs Brunenberg.
Collaborative Aotearoa looks forward to continued progress under Ny’s leadership, with a strong focus on collaboration, innovation, and supporting the primary care workforce. Ny will commence her role as Interim CEO from the 6 July 2026.
