SECTOR UPDATE - Acumen BI Come and talk to Acumen BI at HiNZ Digital Health Week 2023, booth 72 and 73 to learn how they are working with Te Whatu Ora to drive better outcomes for the health of all New Zealanders. As an implementation partner for the National Data Platform (NDP), Acumen BI continue aiding in unifying information held by more than 28 entities under the previous health system into one nationally consistent information hub. This will enable Te Whatu Ora, Te Aka Whai Ora and Manatū Hauora to access health datasets for analytics and reporting using modern, secure, automated technologies. The data will be secured and ready for analysis to track how the health system is performing and where improvements can be made enabling timely decision making. Acumen BI have supported Capital and Coast District to deliver integrated business intelligence apps and a dashboard to provide nurses and midwives visibility of what is happening on their wards . The app focuses on having the right mix and number of nursing staff on wards at any time in order to deliver care to patients, based on their acuity. The App pulls results from multiple data sources including TrendCare, payroll, rostering, incident management and patient administration and make them available in one place For more information call into the Acumen BI booth at HiNZ Digital Health Week, Claudelands – Hamilton. There will be full printed copies of the ‘Healthcare Analytics in New Zealand: A HiNZ Special Report, Supported by Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand’ available. Also join Acumen BI in combating climate change at @HiNZ Digital Health 2023. For every registration at the Acumen BI booth (72 and 73) a native tree will be planted (via Trees that Count) to make a positive impact on New Zealand’s biodiversity. Follow Acumen BI on LinkedIn for updates and/or contact Daniel on phone +6427 838 8183, DanielG@AcumenBI.co.nz to discuss data and analytics solutions. Acumen BI transition organisations from working within the constraints of traditional data and analytics reporting paradigms, to effectively utilise modern cloud-based data, analytics and machine learning platforms.
