SECTOR UPDATE - Noted
To enable its powerful vision for improving the wellbeing of its whānau, Te Rūnanga o Toa Rangatira has chosen to move the majority of its health and wellbeing services and 200 plus staff onto the whānau-centred client management system, Noted.
CEO of the Porirua-based iwi authority, Helmut Modlik, said that they needed a proven system that would enable them to deliver services using their Mauri Ora model of care, where people can ‘enter through any service door’ and get what they need.
“Mauri Ora is our holistic approach to enabling wellbeing. It doesn’t just make it easier for whānau to access and navigate our services, but also reduces the burden on our team from disconnected services and systems that are cumbersome and outdated. Vital to implementing our Mauri Ora model is having fit for purpose systems to support our work and enable Mauri Ora in action. We’re excited to be working with Noted to advance the health and wellbeing of all who live in our rohe,” Helmut said.
Noted CEO Andy Turley said that Noted is privileged to be able to play a part in enabling the vision of Te Rūnanga O Toa Rangatira.
“In our partnerships with many community-based health and social providers, including some of the largest Māori health providers in Aotearoa, such as the Ngāti Hine Health Trust, and primary health organisations, such as Pegasus Health, we have had the opportunity to see first hand how valuable their mahi is and the impact they have in their communities.
“We are excited to have the opportunity to work with Te Rūnanga o Toa Rangatira, extending our solution to meet their complex needs, and supporting them to improve the lives of their whānau.”
