SECTOR UPDATE - Propell

The global leader in patient-focused digital monitoring devices - iHealth - is now available in New Zealand.

Capes Medical is excited and proud to offer iHealth wireless blood pressure monitors, pulse oximeters, thermometers, scales and blood glucose monitors.

All designed to help people better monitor their vital signs at home and be connected to clinicians remotely.

Propell, the Australasian distributor of iHealth, has partnered with Capes Medical to supply iHealth in New Zealand.

The need to avoid New Zealanders going to hospital when they can be monitored at home increases. Cyclone Gabrielle has shown this.

Now New Zealanders can be better monitored at home with iHealth and Capes Medical.

Peter Capes, Managing Director of Capes Medical “Looking forward to seeing health-connected devices helping New Zealanders become key players in the their own healthcare"

Craig Simmonds, CEO and Founder of Propell: “Chronic heart failure, COPD, diabetes and obesity rates continue to increase across New Zealand. 'If you can’t measure it, you can’t manage it’ (Peter Drucker, management guru).

Well now you can with the iHealth. Being able to measure vital signs enable both patients and clinicians to better manage and monitor chronic disease. We are proud to have Capes Medical off iHealth in New Zealand and potential help many thousands of people with chronic disease.
