SECTOR UPDATE - The University of Auckland You are warmly invited to the third Hack Aotearoa AI in Healthcare Conference and Datathon event being held in partnership with MIT Critical Data and hosted by the Faculty of Medical Health Science at the University of Auckland, and the Division of Health Sciences at Otago University.
Join Hack Aotearoa and take part in a rare opportunity for cross-disciplinary collaboration that can produce real solutions to real clinical questions and challenges!
The theme of Hack Aotearoa 2023 is Mahitahi – partnerships and collaboration. Artificial Intelligence, digital health and data science are key enablers for transformations within health systems, organisations, and models of care - we aim to bring together health professionals, technologists and data scientists to develop a greater understanding of the respective fields, the opportunities to improve health outcomes and equity, showcase Māori and Pacific data and digital innovation and learn collaboratively through a datathon event.
You'll learn the latest implications of Artificial Intelligence and data and digital innovation in healthcare from world-renowned international and local experts including Dr. Eric Topol, our opening keynote speaker. Internationally renowned Dr. Topol is the Founder and Director of the Scripps Research Translational Institute, Professor, Molecular Medicine, and Executive Vice-President of Scripps Research.

This event will take place in Auckland from Friday 17th March to Sunday 19th March 2023 with a conference day at the Pullman Hotel followed by a datathon at the University of Auckland.
