SECTOR UPDATE - MTANZ

The health system in Aotearoa is poised for the most significant change in recent history with the disestablishment of the 20 DHBs and the establishment of Health NZ and the Maori Health Authority.

We invite you to join us in Auckland for HealthTech Week titled ‘Aotearoa – the Revolution in Health’. This year the conference will delve into all aspects of the NZ health transition. From how innovative technology will be made available through the new system, how we tackle market access in this new world, to how we can all contribute to achieving the goals set by the Pae Ora (healthy futures) Bill.

HealthTech Week will look and feel a little different this year as we have widened our collaborations to encompass the other associations we work closely with. We have continued to closely partner with our colleagues from Callaghan Innovation and MedTech CMDT to bring you the “Innovation Day”. The Innovation Day showcases New Zealand’s innovation in medical technology and the ecosystem that supports our vibrant sector from research and development, commercialisation, to market access. We are also excited to be collaborating with the Digital Health Association (DHA formerly NZHiT), Medicines NZ and Health informatics NZ (HiNZ) to bring you a broadened perspective of the health transition encompassing data & digital and medicines.

Expected delegate numbers will see 200+ leading health sector professionals, including Industry Representatives, Clinical Experts, Healthcare Providers, Procurement & Regulatory Officials, Payors, Policy-Makers and Researchers.

We believe there is something for everyone at HealthTech Week this year. With plenty of time to mix and mingle and learn about all aspects of the health transition, you will be able to gain invaluable insider knowledge and extend your professional network during Conference sessions, Showcase hours, and the newly formatted Awards & Networking Night.

More information on exhibition and sponsorship packages as well as how to apply can be found in the HTW Exhibition & Sponsorship Prospectus. Please contact Mel Pitto at melanie@mtanz.org.nz if you have any questions.
