Kiwi Founder Dr Elizabeth Berryman recognised as Most Inspiring Women Leader at NZIBA

SECTOR UPDATE - chnnl Dr Elizabeth Berryman, the CEO and Founder of the award-winning digital health solution chnnl limited, has won the New Zealand Foreign Affairs and Trade ‘Inspiring Women Leaders’ award at the New Zealand International Business Awards for her efforts within the mental health and wellbeing space.
In the opinion of the judges, “Dr Berryman is an authentic, genuine leader and expert with a focus on empowering others to "bring their special sauce" and move the dial for chnnl's customers and the people they employ. She also models proactive resilience as a leader, achieving the right balance to sustain the growth of an international business.”
The recognition at the NZIBA is a continuation of a busy start to 2022 for chnnl limited. chnnl has recently opened offices across Australia, been named APAC Insiders ‘Best Digital Employee Health & Wellbeing Platform - New Zealand’ and has been well supported by international investors across Australia, Singapore and San Francisco in their current post-seed raise, which is due to close 12 April 2022 and is currently led by Ice House Ventures. chnnl’s last raise was led by Flying Kiwi Angels and Cure Kids Ventures.
chnnl is a digital platform that enables organisations to create meaningful wellbeing and psychological safety strategies by understanding the real needs of their people. Working with companies on all stages of their wellbeing journeys, chnnl provides a data-driven and clinically validated solution to provide psychological safety support from the frontline to the boardroom. Dr Berryman started chnnl as a research project inspired by her personal experiences with workplace bullying, commercialising it due to overwhelming requests from her research participants.
Dr Berryman is thrilled to be recognised for her work, stating, “Sometimes you just have to pinch yourself!
