NEWS + Martin Wilson, clinical leader for IT, Pegasus Health Could you explain what your role entails? My role is around HealthOne and whole of system healthcare in the South Island
What parts of digital health interest you the most? Making it easy for Healthcare Providers to care for patients efficiently, effectively and at any point of care
What projects are you currently involved in? HealthOne and single sources of truth of encounter records, “stuff about me” (think problem lists that include other important stuff about patients), medicines prescribed and dispensed, and health measurements, and investigations across the south island.
If you could have any other job, what would it be? Expanding HealthOne (1.1 million patients) into the North Island which would then include 4.2million patients
If you have one piece of advice for other digital health leaders, what would it be? Focus on what’s in it for the audience participants
What’s your favourite piece of technology at home and why? My stereo. Weighing in at 180Kg / side it is a mix of Krell and B&W and I love to listen to it. Recently got Tidal with master quality and it’s a blast.
