Researchers at the University of Auckland are conducting a national COVID-19 Stress and Health Study to explore how COVID-19 is affecting the physical and mental wellbeing of New Zealanders. The research explores how people are educating themselves on COVID-19 and about their access to healthcare using telehealth. It also asks about their satisfaction in using these tools.
Anyone living in NZ and aged over 18 years can participate.
What is involved?
Participants are asked tocomplete 3 online surveys (now, after 12 weeks, and when the NZ govt changes their social distancing regulations). The surveys take 10-15mins and are anonymous.
Participants are also asked to collect hair samples when they do the first and second surveys and store them until the end of the study. This part of the study is optional.
