SECTOR UPDATE – National Allied Health Informatics Group
The National Allied Health Informatics Group is seeking to consult with the allied health community to confirm the potential for allied health professions across New Zealand to lead digital and data-driven health and disability services.
In partnership with the Chief Allied Health Professions Office at the Ministry of Health, we would like your feedback on a position statement to represent the interests of the allied health workforce.
We are intending the position statement to:
- signal allied health as leaders in the digital health workforce
- be evidence based
- be comprehensive
- provide practical guidance
Your feedback will ensure that we will publish a position statement that is meaningful and applicable across New Zealand's health workforce.
Here is a link to the consultation survey or if you prefer we also welcome your written feedback to the email address of Rebecca.george@cdhb.health.nz.
Feedback will close on 13 December 2019. Please distribute this far and wide for consultation.
