Tracy Voice has been appointed chief digital officer for three DHBs – Capital & Coast, Hutt Valley and Wairarapa.

Voice is currently chief information officer at the Ministry for Primary Industries in Wellington.

CCDHB corporate services general manager Thomas Davis says, “Tracy comes with significant experience in a large complex organisation, having been at MPI for the past eight years – most recently as chief information officer and director business technology and information services – and previously with MAF and NZ Post.

“Tracy has also recently provided leadership at MPI as acting deputy director general corporate services.

“Tracy’s achievements at MPI include creating and implementing an information technology strategy, introducing new digital and technology solutions at the New Zealand border and overseeing the merger of Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and the Ministry of Fisheries technology systems.

“We look forward to Tracy taking on the CDO role at the end of July.”

Former CIO Shayne Hunter left 3DHB to take up his role as deputy director data and digital at the Ministry of Health in March this year. Rommel Anthony is acting in the role until Voice starts at the end of July.
