New Zealand Women in HealthTech “Breaking through Bias”

Return to eHealthNews.nz home page The newly formed Women in HealthTech is launching with a Breaking through Bias event in Auckland on Wednesday 10 April.
Women in HealthTech is a collaborative group of New Zealand Health IT (NZHIT), Consortium for Medical Device Technologies (CMDT) and the Medical Technology Association of New Zealand (MTANZ).
Their mission is to empower women and diversity to flourish at all levels of the HealthTech industry by making cultural change within organisational opportunities and leadership.
Their first guest speakers are Dr Catherine Mohr, vice-president of strategy at Intuitive Surgical, and Bev Cassidy-Mackenzie, director of consulting at Deloitte.
The event is at 5.30–7.30pm in the BNZ Artspace, Level 7, Deloitte Centre. Tickets are $20 for NZHIT, MTANZ and CMDT members and $30 for non-members.
