Computer & Network Solutions, a leading IT consulting, cybersecurity services and cloud computing firm, today announced that it has achieved ISO 27001:2013 certification, an international standard for leading practices in information security management systems.

The certification affirms CNS’s ongoing commitment to following the highest standards in cybersecurity throughout our delivery, operations and business transformation.

CNS will leverage our ISO 27001:2013 certification to help commercial, health, local government, manufacturing and engineering firms to improve their overall IT performance and cybersecurity posture.

“As an industry leader in providing management and cybersecurity services for cloud, hybrid and on-premises solutions, we are vigilant about the importance of protecting the confidentiality, integrity and availability of customers’ information.

“Our customers demand the highest level of cybersecurity in accordance with industry leading practices and obtaining ISO 27001:2013 certification is tremendous recognition that we are providing exactly that,” says CNS managing director Boris Wilkitzki.

The ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification is a showcase of CNS’s overall strategy to ensure that their cybersecurity services comply with the highest international standards.

The rigorous audit process entailed thorough inspection of evidence and interviews with various departments such as global engineering, network and security operations centre, quality assurance, human resources and finance, as well as investigation on risk management, physical security, access controls and cybersecurity best practices.

CNS’s ISMS successfully met all logical, process, physical and management controls to achieve full compliance with the standard.
