MercyAscot appoints Ian England as CEO

England has a background in hospital management in New Zealand, Australia and the UK. He is a former chair of the NZ Private Surgical Hospital Association.
MercyAscot managing director Dr Andrew Wong says, “It is a real pleasure to announce Ian as our CEO. We are confident that under Ian’s strong leadership we will continue to grow and develop the business.
“His health IT background, together with his experience in the New Zealand healthcare industry, are a great combination for us especially as we embark on a significant change to our patient administration and clinical information systems.
“I would also like to acknowledge our outgoing CEO, Geoff Sparkes, for his dedication and contribution to meeting the needs of the staff, specialists and patients here at MercyAscot. We wish him every success for the future,” says Wong.
