Valeritas announces that V-Go® wearable insulin delivery device is now available in New Zealand

Return to eHealthNews.nz home page Valeritas Holdings, a medical technology company and maker of V-Go® wearable insulin delivery device, a simple, all-in-one, wearable insulin delivery option for patients with diabetes, has announced V-Go is now available in New Zealand through its exclusive distribution agreement with NZMS Diabetes.
"We are delighted to announce patients with type 2 diabetes in New Zealand now have access to V-Go® wearable insulin delivery device," said Valeritas CEO, John Timberlake.
"Clinical studies have demonstrated that patients using our all-in-one insulin delivery device can enjoy better control over blood sugar levels while using less insulin. This represents the first country outside of the United States in which our flagship product V-Go has been launched, and we look forward to the introduction of V-Go in additional countries as we expand our distribution network."
Through the distribution agreement, Valeritas will retain responsibility for product development, regulatory approval, quality management, and manufacturing while NZMS Diabetes will be responsible for sales, marketing, customer support and distribution activities in New Zealand.
