ACHI Fellowship by Training candidate receives appointment at the Australian Digital Health Agency

In 2017 the Australasian College of Health Informatics (ACHI) launched the Fellowship by Training Program. Fourteen PhD candidates, across Australia and New Zealand, have been accepted into the Program. The next intake of candidates will be mid-2018.

As part of the Program candidates are required to complete a health informatics research PhD, two paid work placements with an approved host organisation, and a supplementary learning program which is facilitated by ACHI.

ACHI is pleased to announce that the Australian Digital Health Agency (ADHA) has offered a paid six-month work placement to Program candidate Toby Hodgson. Toby has joined ADHA as a Digital Health Officer in the clinical governance division. See the ADHA media release here.

If your organisation would like to learn more about paid work placements, please contact the Fellowship Program Manager leanne.bamfordbarnes@mq.edu.au
