The Australasian College of Health Informatics has four levels of membership reflecting expertise and contributions to Health Informatics:

• Fellow (“FACHI”)
• Full Member (“MACHI”)
• Graduate Member
• Student Member

MACHI/ FACHI membership is assessed by ACHI.

• MACHI – granted to individuals who have a recognised level of achievement within the health informatics discipline. Post-nominals of MACHI are awarded.
• FACHI – granted to individuals who have made a substantial achievement and contribution within the health informatics discipline. Post-nominals of FACHI are awarded.

How to pay for your ACHI Membership

It costs NZD$398 to join ACHI for one year, i.e., $200 for ACHI plus your annual HiNZ membership and benefits.

 

To pay for your membership (after your initial application has been accepted) or to renew your ACHI membership, please go to the JOIN HiNZ page on our website:

• Click on the "standard member" option at the top of the page
• In step 1, create or enter your hinz username
• In step 2, you will get an option to select the combined HiNZ & ACHI membership
• At checkout you will have the option to pay by credit card (we accept visa or mastercard) or by invoice.
