A collaboration between NZHIT and HiNZ, this one-day symposium is focused on addressing the myths and confusion surrounding the adoption and use of cloud-based services in New Zealand’s health sector.

With the likes of Software as a Service (SaaS), Internet of Things (IoT) and the consumerisation of healthcare through the use of Apps and Portals, now is the time for the sector to increase the levels of understanding when it comes to the platforms and standards that underpin the use of “Cloud in Health”.

This one-day symposium will cover

Privacy, standards, security and compliance; the facts you must be aware of to make sure everyone is safe in the cloud.

+ CLOUD IN PRACTICE
What’s happening and where it is heading; examples of cloud-based services being implemented.

+ CLOUD INNOVATION
Using the cloud to innovate; what does the future hold and how can we be leaders within this field?

Speakers will represent the public and private health sectors, and government. The mix of individual presentations and panel sessions will provide you with opportunities to ask questions and interact with speakers. The programme will be released soon. Networking session

The symposium will be followed by a networking session from 5pm to 7pm. This will be open to all NZHIT and HiNZ members, not just symposium attendees. (Non-members who attended the symposium are welcome to attend.)
