HiNZ has been actively working to develop partnerships with other health organisations that provide benefits for both our members and theirs. This strategy supports our aim to provide a digital meeting place for like-minded professionals to share and discuss the latest in health informatics information and developments in both New Zealand and the world.

Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) is a global voice, advisor and thought leader of health transformation through health IT with a unique breadth and depth of expertise and capabilities to improve the quality, safety, and efficiency of health, healthcare and care outcomes. Our partnership with their Asia Pacific branch will provide HiNZ members an invaluable opportunity to become part of wider international health informatics community. Read more
In February 2016, a partnership was formed with New Zealand Private Surgical Hospitals Association (NZPSHA) that provided NZPSHA members special benefits including a discounted HiNZ joining rate and discounted conference registration. Read more
NZMA members can now access discounted HiNZ membership and conference registration because of a new partnership signed between NZMA and HiNZ in August 2016. Read more
New Zealand Medical Students’ Association (NZMSA) members who are studying full-time can join HiNZ for a special student membership rate of only $20 per year and get a discount on registration to the HiNZ conference.

New Zealand Institute of Health Management (NZIHM) members receive a discount off the HiNZ Conference registration price.
