Getting there Have you booked your flights? Don't delay as your choices will be limited if you leave it to the last minute. Flights to Rotorua routinely sell out.
Driving to Rotorua is a good option to consider. It is only 2.5 hours from Auckland Airport and the town is very car friendly. There is free parking right outside the front door of the venue!
Transfers to/from airportIndicative fares from the airport into the city are NZ$25-35 one-way for a taxi. Supershuttles and the airport bus ($2.80) are cheaper options.
