Synopsis

Healthpoint provides high quality information on healthcare services nationally for consumers/New Zealanders. The information is provided using a de-centralised platform that allows for engagement directly with the services. The information helps them understand, navigate and access healthcare service providers because of the data-rich nature of the information. Ultimately this helps New Zealanders make the best decisions for themselves and family members and enables better engagement and better outcomes. We will give specific examples, showcase the level of information and include the `tripadvisor’ approach where members of the public can rate the service they have been to and recommend this to others.

Healthpoint's goal is to be the one-place to get high quality health service information and enable this to streamed out to many organisations who can also use the information in apps and websites. Healthpoint is well on track with over 350,000 visitors accessing this information every month.
