Recent events highlight the increasingly complex of rapidly evolving cybersecurity threats that healthcare organisations are exposed to. Beyond their potential for compromise of personal health information, security breaches can now seriously disrupt clinical and business operations.
Understanding how to “protect, detect and respond” to these threats is a growing challenge for the health sector. Given the vital importance of using digital technologies to transform health services and outcomes in New Zealand, it is essential that it be successfully addressed. This workshop is focused on helping participants understand the risks they are exposed to, and how Microsoft assists in mitigating them using “modern” approaches to security.
Speakers include:
- Hector Rodriguez, Worldwide Chief Health Information Security Officer, Microsoft
- Michael Brick, Legal Counsel
- Russell Craig, National Technology Officer, Microsoft
- Scott Deacon, Microsoft
- Tony Temaru, Unify
- Damian Morgan, Unify
- David Carter, Stratos Group
- Andrew Kosmadakis, Microsoft
Registration is free. Only 50 seats available.
