What should we do about X?


This event will be held at Whenua Pupuke at the North Shore Hospital Campus in Takapuna, Auckland. The event is run by HiNZ in collaboration with the Institute for Innovation + Improvement (i3) at Waitemata DHB.


Each networking event will feature a different topic (X) that is hot right now.  At this event, the discussion topic is "Democratising access to data".

The event will be held at 7am to 9am on Tuesday 3 September at Whenua Pupuke at North Shore Hospital in Auckland.


Guest speakers include Dr Robyn Whittaker, Clinical Director of Innovation at Institute for Innovation and Improvement (i3) and Delwyn Armstrong, Head of Analytics i3.

Enjoy networking over a healthy breakfast from 7am to 7.45am then take part in a facilitated discussion about data democratisation (or listen to what others have to say).


Seats limited to 60 people. Registration essential. 


  • 7.00am - Breakfast and networking
  • 7.45am - Welcome by Kim Mundell, CEO HiNZ & Dr Robyn Whittaker, Clinical Director Innovation i3
  • 7.50am - Presentation/demo by Delwyn Amstrong, Head of Analytics i3, on Waitemata DHB Qlik project with clinical perspectives
  • 8.05am - Facilitated group discussion on ‘How should we democratise access to data?’
  • 9.00am – Summarise and close

Cancellation Policy
  • Cancellations for tickets are allowed by the registration site up to 7 days prior to the event date, after which no refunds are possible.
  • Free Ticket 'No-Show' Fee: If you book a free member ticket but do not attend the event, then HiNZ will invoice you after the event a 'no-show' fee of $29 to cover the cost of the catering we ordered for you. To cancel a free member ticket please email Gloria at by 31 August 2019.
