Exhibition Leads App

Only exhibitors and sponsors get access to the 'leads app'. 

 

NEW in 2019 - the leads app is now integrated within the conference app so you no longer need to download two separate apps from the app store. Simply download the conference app, and your leads function will be visible automatically (if you are an exhibitor/sponsor).

There are three ways to get a delegate into your leads app:
1. By you scanning the QR code on the delegate's name badge

2. By the delegate scanning your company QR code poster

3. By you manually entering the data into the app

Note: The leads function does not capture information if a delegate scans YOUR name badge. The delegate must allow you to scan THEIR name badge. Or the delegate needs to scan YOUR company QR code poster. 

 

We supply each exhibition booth with a laminated poster of your company QR code for this purpose. You can download extra copies of your company QR code from your company profile page in the app.


Delegates are motivated to scan and be scanned by the 'QR code game', as scanning enables them to collect points - and delegates with the most points at the end of the conference win prizes. It is an opt-in process. If the delegate doesn't want others to be able to view their delegate profile page then they are advised not to scan QR codes or allow themselves to be scanned.

 
The leads function gives you access to a delegate's contact details. At a minimum, you will be able to see their email address. If a delegate has entered additional information into their app profile page, then you will be able to view those details as well.

 

The leads function enables exhibitors to download a report at any time during and after the conference, with the details of each delegate they have scanned and/or been scanned by.

 

You are able to export your contacts from the conference app, during and after the conference, including any notes you make about the contact. 

 

FAQ about Exhibitor Leads App

Q. I've got the leads app but I can't see a list of delegates.

-The conference app shows you the list of delegates.
-The leads portion of the conference app is how you collect delegate contact data during the conference (using the QR code scan process).

 

Q. Can I export the list of delegates to an excel sheet?

You can export delegate contacts from the leads portion of the app AFTER you have collected them at the conference. The delegate needs to opt-in first, by allowing you to scan their name badge, or by the delegate scanning your booth QR code poster (which HiNZ will supply). It exports the contact details of those you connect with using the QR code process - not the entire delegate list (as that would be a breach of the NZ privacy act).

 

Q. What are the key things I need to know about the app?

Download and login to the conference app: If you are registered for the conference, you should have received an email inviting you to access the app. This was sent from admin@zerista.com. If you didn't get it, check your spam folder. Or email Kim at ceo@hinz.org.nz. On your mobile device, open the email and click on the activation link in the invite email. Opening the invitation from your mobile device will automatically download the app onto your phone. Your username is your email address (the one you used to register for the conference) and the app will prompt you to set up a password. If you get stuck during the login process - email support@gigtv.co.nz - and they will help you get started.

Edit your company & personal profile in the conference app: Exhibitors are automatically linked to their company profile page, based on employer name. If your name is not linked to your booth within the app, email Kim at ceo@hinz.org.nz and we will add you to it. Being linked to your company name gives you the ability to edit your company listing page. You also have your own personal profile page within the conference app.

Here is how you can view and edit your profiles before the conference:

  • To edit your company profile, go to the app website at hinz2019.zerista.com on your PC or Mac. (You can't edit a company profile page via your phone - you must use the app's website for this function.) Then click on the drop-down menu in the upper-right corner of the webpage, choose your company name, and then click EDIT PROFILE next to your company name.
  • To edit your personal profile, login at hinz2019.zerista.com then on the left hand side of the screen click MY PROFILE then click EDIT MY PROFILE.
