Q. Where do I go to login?

There are two ways you can login to the webcast library

Q. What is my username and password?

On Monday 31 October, an email was sent from to all conference delegates (and to all HiNZ members) with their username/password and instructions on how to access the webcast library. Please check your junk mail folder if you didn't get this.


Q. I can't find the email with my username and password. How do I login?

Have you checked your junk mail folder? If you still can't find it, then during the conference please see the team at the registration desk and ask for your "delegate username and password" and they will give this to you. Or email


Q. How long do I get access for?
  • HiNZ members get access to the webcast library up until the date their membership expires. 
  • Conference delegates get 6 days access to the webcast library, from 1 November 2016 until midnight on Sunday 6 November 2016. To view the webcast library after this date you need to be a HiNZ member.


Q. When are the 2016 conference sessions available?

The sessions within the NZ 1 room are live-streamed during 1-3 November. All other sessions are available on-demand within 24 hours (except for workshops and a couple of sessions where the speaker has denied consent to be filmed). To view the 2016 conference programme please go here.


Q. Which conferences can I access?

All four conferences are being filmed. Via the webcast library you can view the 2016 HiNZ Conference, Successes & Failures in Telehealth 2016, Global Telehealth 2016, and the NZ Nursing Informatics Conference 2016. HiNZ members can also view the 2015 HiNZ Conference and the 2015 Nursing Informatics Conference.


Q. What is a webcast?

A webcast shows you a video of the speaker and the presentation slides simultaneously, so you can see and hear what the conference audience does. It is easily viewable on your computer,
tablet or smartphone. You can use the webcast library search engine to find relevant topics without having to watch an entire session. When you click on the search result, you’ll be taken directly to the point in the presentation where the keyword was shown.


Q. What is the difference between the webcast library and a virtual registration?

Nothing. It means the same thing.


Q. I am a HiNZ member. Do I get a virtual registration?

Yes, that's right. All HiNZ members automatically get full access to all sessions in the conference webcast library (which is the same as a virtual registration) for the term of their membership.
