Q. How do I sign in to the website and update my profile?

Q. How do I change my password?

Sign in to the site using your existing Username and Password and go to the 'Manage Profile' tab on the right side of the screen.  Under 'Information & Settings', please select 'Edit Bio'.  Beside 'Password', please click on 'Change' (under Account Information).

Q. What is my password for Pulse+IT online magazine?

Your Pulse+IT username is the email address you have registered with HINZ.

A temporary Pulse+IT password will have been emailed to you within a week of joining HINZ from, however you can reset this here by following these instructions.

If you still have trouble logging in, please email for assistance.

Q. How do I access the HiNZ webcast library?

Please go here to login:

To login you will need your HiNZ username (usually your email) and your HiNZ password.

If you can't remember your HiNZ membership password, go to the member login page, enter your username (usually your email address) and click 'forgotten password' to reset your password. Then go back to the webcast library to login.

Q. How do I access the HIMSS learning centre resources?

Q. What does it cost if I want to get the HiNZ newsletter?

The HiNZ eNewsletter is free. Sign up now.

Q. I'm a student, do I get a discount?

If you are a FULL TIME student you get a discount on HiNZ membership. Join now.

Q. I'm retired, do I get a discount?

If you are over 65 years and not in paid employment then you get a discount on HiNZ membership. Join now.

Q. What period is my membership valid for?

HiNZ membership is for one year from the date you join.

Q. Can I pay by credit card?

Yes. We accept visa or mastercard. Join now.

Q. Can you send me an invoice?

Yes. Choose the 'bill me' option when you fill in the membership form and we will send you an invoice. You can pay the invoice by bank deposit, by cheque, or by credit card. Join now.

Q. What content on the website is member-only access?

HiNZ members are able to access the HiNZ Webcast Library (60 expert presenters video/slides from the 2015 HiNZ Conference) plus our extensive 10 year archive of HiNZ Conference presentations (speaker slides and some videos), plus the seminar archive, and reports from international conferences.


Q. I am a member but I can't get access to the member only areas. Why not?
  • Have you logged in? (The login is at the very top of this page and in the right column).
  • Did you ask to pay by invoice? If you paid by credit card you have instant access but if you paid by ticking 'bill me' then it takes up to 24 hours for your membership to be approved and access to be granted. Please try again tomorrow. Thanks.
Q. Why can't I subscribe to the RSS feed on the 'News & Press' page?

If you are using Chrome as your web browser, you need to download a free 'feed reader' from this website. Once you have downloaded this app, you will be able to activate the RSS feed directly from the website.
