HINZ 2010 - Call for Papers
The theme of the conference is “Enabling Clinical Transformation”, but papers, posters and workshop proposals on any aspect of health informatics are welcome.
Papers
Papers should be between 2 and 8 pages long. Abstract-only papers will not be accepted.
Papers should fit into one of these categories:
- Scientific – reporting research findings, using the standard methods - results - conclusion format
- Future vision – analysing current issues or problems, or reporting research in progress
- Practice notes
- Case studies
All papers will be double-blind peer reviewed and published in the Conference proceedings.
Authors of the highest quality papers will be invited to expand and update their work for inclusion in HINZ 's journal, Health Care Informatics Review Online, and may be eligible for a Rising Star or Person-Centred Health System award.
Papers on which the first author is a student will also be eligible for the Best Student Paper award.
Posters
The conference will include a scheduled poster session.
Poster presenters must submit an Abstract, and will be expected to be available to talk about their poster at the scheduled session.
Workshops
The morning of November 2nd will be available for workshops.
Potential workshop organisers should submit a workshop proposal, including:
- Workshop title
- Subject area(s)
- Likely audience
- Organiser and presenter details
Dates
If you wish to submit a paper, poster or workshop proposal, please note these key dates:
- Submissions close on 29th May 2010
- Reviews will be completed by 15th June 2010
- Authors will be notified of acceptance by 29th June 2010
- Final versions must be submitted by 31st August 2010
