HINZ 2010 - Call for Papers
Dates
Submissions are now closed, and authors of accepted papers have been notified.
Final versions must be submitted by 10th September 2010 (NOTE: this date differs from that in the current conference handbook) through EasyChair or direct to admin@hinz.org.nz.
Papers
Papers should be between 2 and 8 pages long. Abstract-only submissions will not be accepted.
Papers should fit into one of these categories:
- Scientific
- Future vision
- Practice notes
- Case studies
Papers must be submitted as MS Word files, prepared according to these Submission Instructions (which also serve as style templates). Download the .dot template for versions of Word up to 2003, or the .dotx template for later versions.
All papers will be double-blind peer reviewed and published in the Conference proceedings.
Authors of the highest quality papers will be invited to expand and update their work for inclusion in HINZ 's journal, Health Care Informatics Review Online, and may be eligible for a Rising Star or Person-Centred Health System award.
Papers on which the first author is a student will also be eligible for the Best Student Paper award.
Posters
The conference will include a scheduled poster session.
Poster presenters must submit an Abstract, and will be expected to be available to talk about their poster at the scheduled session.
Details of poster sizes and formats will be provided to accepted authors.
Workshops
The morning of November 2nd will be available for workshops.
Potential workshop organisers should submit a workshop proposal to admin@hinz.org.nz, including:
- Workshop title
- Subject area(s)
- Likely audience
- Organiser and presenter details
