(1.0 MB PDF - Updated 30 June 2008)
Registration: Online Registration for HINZ 2008
Location: Wednesday 15 October - Friday 17 October 2008, Rotorua Convention Centre, Rotorua, New Zealand
Preparations for this year's conference are well underway, with seven top international keynote speakers confirmed.
The theme this year is "Health Informatics: Improvingand Exploiting our Health Information". This theme reflects the wealth of information already collected across the health and disability sector, further improving this and our ongoing efforts to ensure that information is accessible and available to the right people in the right place at the right time. We have again chosen Rotorua as the venue. There was a great deal of positive feedback on this location from last year, everyone enjoyed getting away from work and being able to really concentrate on getting the best value out of attending the annual conference.
This year we will again offer workshops on the first day and that evening we will host a welcome reception and elevator pitch presentations. This function will take place at the Skyline Redwood Marquee along with an hour of luging beforehand (this was a huge hit last year). The main conference begins early on Thursday morning with a breakfast session and video link up with Denis Protti. The gala dinner this year involves a 1930's - 40's theme so pack your gangster hats, baubles, boas and bling for this fun occasion.
The organising committee are excited to be able to bring to you another world-class programme and extend a particular welcome to those who have not yet attended one of our conferences - we are certain you will find it a highly valuable experience. We look forward to welcoming you to HINZ 2008.
