National Health Board (NHB)
The National Health Board's role is to overcome the challenges facing our health system and improve the quality, safety and sustainability of health care, for New Zealanders.

National Health IT Board (NHITB)

The National Health Information Technology Board (NHITB) supports the Ministry of Health to improve the health of New Zealanders by providing trusted and secure integrated health information systems and IT solutions that enable better and more convenient health care to be delivered.
Health Research Council (HRC)
HRC are responsible for managing the Government's investment in health research. In addition, HRC support the development of research careers, so that New Zealand can have a well-trained workforce in the future.
National E-Health Transition Authority (NEHTA)
The National E-Health Transition Authority (NEHTA) is the lead organisation supporting a national vision for eHealth for Australia.
Health Improvement & Innovation Resource Centre (HIIRC)
The Health Improvement and Innovation Resource Centre (HIIRC) is your source of knowledge to improve New Zealand's health care system. Sponsored by the Ministry of Health, HIIRC has been developed to support performance and quality improvement efforts.
Health Information Standards Office (HISO)
The Health Information Standards Organisation (HISO) is the expert advisory group for standards to the National Health IT Board.
Telehealth Forum
The Forum’s purpose is to develop information and educational materials that are shaped from the bottom up by patients and their carers, in collaboration with the doctors and nurses responsible for their overall care and, in due course, for commissioning services for people living with long term conditions.
Health Workforce
Health Workforce New Zealand leads and supports the training and development of the health and disability workforce.  It is part of the National Health IT Board.
Health Quality & Safety Commission New Zealand
The Health Quality & Safety Commission was established under the New Zealand Public Health & Disability Amendment Act 2010  to ensure all New Zealanders receive the best health and disability care within our available resources.
