Notice of changes to HiNZ Constitution
The HiNZ Board has proposed changes to our 2014 Constitution to ensure it stays aligned with HiNZ’ activities as a fast-growing professional organisation.
The focus of the changes are to:
- Clarify the organisation’s financial governance processes.
- Update the membership definitions to support our activities.
- Reflect our move to online voting for board candidates.
The HINZ Board has endeavoured to collect feedback on the constitution from a number of sources, and we now invite your feedback. Please take 5 minutes to read the updated constitution by clicking here. To give feedback on the constitutional changes please send an email to email@example.com by 23 September 2016.
The new constitution will be put to a vote at the HiNZ AGM. This will be held at 7.45am on Wednesday 2 November, at SKYCITY Auckland, during the HiNZ Conference. Voting for board candidates will be announced in early October 2016.
