AN INTRODUCTION TO HEALTH INFORMATICS

 

To achieve high quality health care and improve patient safety New Zealanders will have a core set of personal health information available electronically to them and their treatment providers regardless of the setting as they access health services.

    Dr Michelle Honey, Senior Lecturer Nursing, Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, The University of Auckland.

     

    Michelle is a Registered General and Obstetric Nurse with experience in surgical, cardio-thoracic and intensive care nursing. Her research interests are in nurse education and informatics.
