Welcome to the HINZ Conference & Exhibition 2006
Primary Care and Beyond
Building the e-Bridge to Integrated Care
9-11 August 2006, Aotea Centre, Auckland, New Zealand

 

On behalf of HINZ and the Scientific Program Committee (SPC), I would like to cordially invite you to participate in this exciting annual event. Valuable lessons can be learnt from these successful and the not so successful stories - they are all equally welcome! The SPC is requesting submissions of scientific and discussion or concept papers on the following and other relevant health informatics topics:

  • Practice Management Systems
  • Connectivity between primary and secondary care
  • Classifications and ontologies in primary care
  • Consumers and ehealth
  • eHealth supporting multidisciplinary care and chronic disease management
  • Nursing and the EHR
  • Information Overload and providing the right information at the point of care

The SPC is also accepting scientific, discussion, or concept submissions on relevant health informatics topics around the conference theme of "e-bridge to integrated care".

Accepted submissions for Full Papers will appear in the
Health Care and Informatics Review Online subject to editorial revision.

Important Dates - Deadlines

Extended abstracts submitted*26 April 2006
Notification of acceptance16 May 2006
24 May 2006
Final version of accepted papers received6 June 2006
12 June 2006

*600-1000 words for Full or Short Papers, 300
words for Posters.

We welcome submissions for full and short scientific papers, future vision papers, review papers, and posters. Panel discussion proposals will also be accepted.

Authors must submit their work electronically. The acceptable formats are Microsoft Word for Windows (any version) or RTF (Rich Text Format). Authors must submit their extended abstract with a completed
submission form.
